Job Summary

The successful Candidate will report to Byrne’s Custom Joinery, Senior Estimator and be responsible for general operations as they pertain to the role of Estimating in the joinery sector.

Candidate Duties

‍
You will be responsible for quantifying and generating bills of quantities. This will require a working knowledge of the varying types of wood based materials as well as glass, metalwork and stonework. You will also be responsible for enabling the seamless handover to the design team
following receipt of the customer order. Clear guidelines and induction processes are in place for seamless onboarding of the role.

Candidate Requirements

‍
The ideal applicant will also be responsible for planning and executing tender bids. They will also be comfortable with relationships building with existing customers to facilitate sales conversations and open to generating new client leads. Broad Experience in the Woodwork industry is essential. Two or more years of experience is desirable. Applicants should note that this is field based as well as office based work so a full clean driving license is essential.
